How these Clueword hints work
Clueword hands you the coloured board up front, so the clues themselves are not a spoiler — they are the puzzle. What we add here is the graded nudge: a first hint that only points at the shape of the answer, a second that narrows the field using the site's own dictionary, and a third that pins the opening and closing letters. The full answer sits in its own reveal box so nobody gets spoiled by accident.
Unlike a normal Wordle hint page there is no single secret to leak: any five-letter word that satisfies all three rows wins Clueword. That is why the reveal lists more than one answer — every word on that list is accepted by the game.
Quick strategy
- Write the greens down as a skeleton (for example
_ _ A _ E). - Keep every yellow letter on a shortlist — it must appear somewhere else.
- Delete all grey letters from your alphabet before guessing anything.
- Watch repeated letters: two of the same letter with one grey means only one copy is in the answer.
